CONTEXT: GMR Marketing, along with the Comcast client Xfinity, created a high-energy "Xfinity Extra Bar" experience at WrestleMania to promote their "WiFi is Booming" campaign. This involved a multi-sensory activation at WWE World in Las Vegas with bold visuals, thundering sound, and an interactive tunnel 'entrance' experience where fans could pose to a song of their choosing and receive a branded video to post on social media.
TASK: Create videos for The Extra Bar activation space – leaning heavily into the repetition and pulsing energy of BOOOOOOOOMing wifi and showcasing clips of WWE wrestlers. Visual aesthetic should be explosive, dynamic and reflect energy of WWE entrances.
MY ROLE: Storyboard, animatics, animation, and footage edit for the tunnel idle and active states.
