COMPANY: GMR Marketing
CONTEXT: GMR creates experiences for brands. They don’t just tell stories to passive audiences; they make immersive worlds, drop people inside, and let them explore. If you make a relevant, multisensorial experience that’s compelling enough, it will become a lasting memory. And it turns out, if you have a personal memory of a brand experience, you’re more likely to purchase or share.
To explain all of the above in way that feels beautiful, interesting and unique, GMR created a metaphor: the string of lights. Simply put, if you think of your life story as a string of lights, each bulb represents a memory. Some bulbs burn brighter, because those moments really meant something. There are gaps, because you can’t remember everything. You carry this string of lights around with you, all the time. At GMR, the goal is to create the bulbs that burn the brightest.
TASK: Create a video for the GMR website that explains this POV on memories and marketing. Tell the story through a compelling narrative that asks the viewer, to reflect back upon your life. When it’s over, you should be imagining new possibilities for what your brand can achieve.
