CONTEXT: As part of a GMR internal creative team typography exercise, we were openly tasked to choose a word(s) and create a 3D layout that could not be easily replicated with 2D design tools. The goal was to showcase some of the benefits of using 3D and animation tools for still designs.
MY ROLE: For this internal assignment I chose to create a play on the words ORDER VS CHAOS. The design starts with the word 'order' in a repetitive, symmetrical layout and then morphs into the word 'chaos' – spiraling down into a void of unstructured letters. The layout could be read from top to bottom or bottom to top.
